About The Position
The Web Technology Coordinator Team Member is an integral part of the Event Leadership Institute providing technology and administrative support to ELI team members as well as customers. Working closely with ELI’s President, the Web Technology Coordinator Team Member takes a lead role in coordinating ELI’s web technology, software and systems in collaboration with ELI’s web development team, faculty, customer service department, and external technology providers.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Creating, updating and editing website pages and content as required
- Monitoring live chat tickets and student forums for reported issues and taking action to resolve, provide support to students, or engage the development team as necessary
- Assign, manage, coordinate tickets with the development team to ensure timely completion and quality of work
- Maintain the ecommerce system to ensure product settings, pricing, discounts, coupon codes, product descriptions and other settings are accurate and course dates are updated.
- Assist in posting new blog posts, events, job postings, and other website content
- Maintain ELI’s learning management system including setting up new courses and lessons, and troubleshooting, editing and updating existing courses, as well as managing system settings, system generated engagements and certificates, and reports.
- Coordinate and maintain system integrations using Zapier, WP Fusion and others.
- Coordinate and maintain the affiliate program system, including set up of new affiliates, generating reports and monitoring accurate tracking
- Monitor overall website health and report issues to development team as necessary
- Manage, create, and maintain various web forms as well as submissions, such as course surveys and distribute results to appropriate departments or individuals.
- Compile analytic data from web traffic, social channels, ecommerce, user activities and other metrics and provide period reports as required
- Set-up and coordinate zoom webinars, download recordings and reports and upload to Dropbox and ELI’s CRM / database
- Maintain ELI’s CRM and email database and assist with the set-up and delivery of email campaigns and automations
- Provide administrative assistance including; scheduling proctored exams, verifying course completions, issuing certificates and digital credentials, data entry and management, maintaining statistics and other records, reporting, preparation of accreditation data and documents
- Assist instructors in preparing handouts, class resources and other documents, and converting to PDF or uploading as lesson content.
- Uploading and maintaining videos in Vimeo as well as ordering and delivery of closed captioning services.
Other Responsibilities
Provide Coverage Support To Customer Service & Sales Department
- Answer and respond to incoming sales inquiries and support requests through phone calls, emails, website live chat sessions, social media channels, and follow up as required
- Process support requests by providing information or solutions and taking appropriate steps to resolve any issues
- Provide excellent customer service in order to develop long-lasting relationships with customers, learners, faculty and industry professionals
- Provide counsel to faculty, staff and students on policies, procedures and services
- Attend webinars as needed to provide support to students or faculty.
- Other duties as required

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field such as web-design / development (or working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma) from an accredited university or college is preferred, however applicants will be considered based on a combination of post-secondary education and work experience.
- Experience with WordPress and LMS is a major plus!
- Previous administrative and customer service experience is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as within a team.
- Experience in or the ability to easily and quickly learn technology and software platforms
- Must have a reliable computer and internet connection as this position is entirely remote

Location
This is a remote position. You must have access to a secure computer with appropriate software such as Microsoft Office, a webcam with a microphone, and reliable internet. You will be expected to participate in team calls / meetings using your webcam.
Hours
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), excluding Statutory Holidays, five days per week with weekend / evening shifts as required.
