About The Position
The Digital Marketing Analyst & Data Specialist is an integral part of the Event Leadership Institute team by helping to configure and maintain data systems, databases and marketing analytics, as well as analyze and report on key metrics and analytics. This role is responsible for helping the executive and marketing teams understand related data and identify trends and opportunities in order to make data-driven strategic decisions. This position works closely with ELI’s CEO, President, and Marketing & Content Manager.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Data Systems Implementation & Configuration
• Review and maintain current systems including Google Analytics & related products, Active Campaign, eCommerce, social media, Adwords, and other marketing and analytic systems to ensure efficient and accurate configuration, integration, data collection and reporting
• Recommend, and implement changes to configuration and integrations, as well as new systems if required
• Collaborate with the marketing and web development teams on process improvements and system modifications
• Create documentation on processes, best-practices, and reporting procedures
Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze data and audit for accuracy between systems
• Work with the executive team to determine data collection and analysis goals
• Use statistical tools to interpret data sets and identify trends and patterns
• Design reporting templates that consolidates data from various sources
• Report analysis findings and make data-driven recommendations on strategic opportunities and/or changes in direction
Requirements
• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or similar position
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with Google Analytics and other data collection, analysis and reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and explain complicated data sets
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as within a team
• Proficient in preparing reports and presenting findings with attention to detail and accuracy
• This is a remote position. You must have access to a secure computer with appropriate software, a webcam with a microphone, and reliable internet.
Contract Position
This is a part-time, one-month contract position with the possibility of extension, or renewal on a monthly basis depending on the needs of the business.
